Dental Practice Blogging – Boldly Going – Not!

Dental Practice Blogging – Boldly Going – Not!

We’re new at the dental practice blogging biz, and we’re not so puffed up as Captain Kirk nor so reasonably proud as Spock to think that we’re boldly going where no dental practice blog has gone before.

Lots of dental practice blogs are already online, with lots of great information: Here’s a directory of dental practice blogs: http://www.blogged.com/directory/health/dental

Starting from there, we can look at specialty blogs, like
· The Endo Blog, about endodontics: http://www.theendoblog.com/
· The Digital Dentist, specializing in technological aspects of dental practice: http://thedigitaldentist.blogspot.com/
· Dental Innovation and Library Information – from the University of Michigan –lots of great information: http://mblog.lib.umich.edu/dentlib/

Because when it’s all said and done, it’s information that people are seeking when they go online. Now, the information that we small business owners want them to be seeking is our exact business, but that’s not always, or even often, going to be the case.

Whether you’re wanting to market your dental practice, your Starfleet academy (my program automatically capitalized Starfleet – is this the 21st century, or what?) or your specialized rose fertilizer, your best bet is to provide information people are actually seeking. Our plan is to learn from the best of the dental practice blogs, putting our own charming spin on the process – live long & prosper, dental practice blog dudes!

Good News About Your Dental Website Marketing

Good News About Your Dental Website Marketing

Hey, I’ve got good news – marketing in general can seem daunting, but dental website marketing – at least, dental website marketing when it comes to your own practice, should be something of a joy.

Because you’re great at what you do, right? You’re careful in hiring good people; you’ve worked hard to create a really congenial workplace where patients feel safe and appreciated. Not to mention those thousand years in schooling and labs.

So the good news is, you don’t have to lie when it comes to your dental website marketing – don’t you ever see commercials for products and think, whoa, imagine all the souls that were sold to get there, huh?

Dental Website Marketing and Your Quality Service

You’re already way past halfway there, because having a great service to sell is most of the work. We’re going to be discussing methods of marketing your dental website, including mailers, blogs, social media, etc., plus some general online resources about dentistry.

And I bet we can find some games that relate to teeth – because any kind of online marketing, even dental website marketing, can benefit from a game or two.
